Home media release[]
Animal Soccer was released to VHS on April 21, 1997. It later got a DVD release on March 11, 2003, one month before Animal Soccer: World Cup was released into theaters. It was then released to Blu-ray on May 4, 2009, and again on August 16, 2016.
Sequel and television series[]
A sequel, Animal Soccer: World Cup, was produced and released on April 11, 2003. A television series, called Animal Soccer: The Series premiered on April 14, 2006.
