Fairytale is an American animated comedy fairytale film by Paramount Pictures and Eagle Entertainment. The film centers around Mooncloud, a prince, trying to save Vicki, a princess. This film is the first Eagle Entertainment film to feature the "Paramount/Viacom" byline due to Viacom buying Eagle Entertainment and its entire library in August 2003.

The film begins with Mooncloud preparing to play ball with Vicki.

Reception[]

Fairytale received mixed to negative reviews upon release. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 54% of critics have given the film a positive review based on 167 reviews, with an average score of 4/10. The critical consensus is "Eagle Entertainment's parody of a Disney-like fairy tale ends up being bland with its dumb jokes."

Home media[]

Fairytale was released to VHS and DVD on March 30, 2004. It later recieved a 10th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray on November 12, 2013, and was released to Blu-ray again on October 17, 2017.
