Production

Strange had accused Cowan of abusing the film's budget, leaving him with very little to work with. As a result he had to pay for most expenses out of pocket. It was said that his vocality on the issue led to him getting blacklisted, leading to this being his final project until 2016.

Reception

The film received mixed to unfavorable reviews, currently holding a 35% on Rotten Tomatoes. In spite of poor reviews, the film received praise for its effects, stories and makeup, and attributed the issues present to internal and monetary issues.
